For the discerning collector of glass, Akua Objects presents a new edition of the Rosenborg Chandelier - a distinctive lighting piece defined by playful swirling contrasts and a subtle homage to Venetian craftsmanship. Each chandelier celebrates the enduring traditions of old-world Venice, interpreted through Akua’s contemporary design language.

The design reimagines the traditionally ornate chandelier with a lighter and more refined expression. Delicate striped Venetian roses, handcrafted with antique charm, are carefully applied to the form, lending the piece both elegance and character.

The palette is both sophisticated and spirited, composed of luminous opaline hues and adorned with handcrafted floral details that gather beneath the chandelier like a decorative flourish. The result is a piece of understated grandeur, bringing warmth, atmosphere, and sculptural beauty to any interior.

Available in two proportions, the chandelier can be suspended above a dining table in its elongated form or serve as a striking centrepiece in its more compact version.

The collection takes its name from Rosenborg Castle in Copenhagen. In 1709, King Frederick IV visited Venice and acquired some of the earliest Murano glass treasures to reach Denmark, establishing a lasting connection between Venetian craftsmanship and Danish royal heritage. For co-founder and designer Annika, Rosenborg remains a continual source of inspiration, where craftsmanship, history, and ornament converge in timeless harmony.
