The inspiration for the fruits is drawn from Marianne's treasured garden. A very special place where the rosebuds are pruned only after the last frost of winter, and fruit trees stand tall row by row. Once the magnolia drops its leaves, the clematis makes its arrival.

And after the lilacs come roses, and after the roses come the mushrooms, and after the mushrooms come the fruits. The apples are named afterMarianne, who has her own apple orchard north of Copenhagen, and the fruits resemble a poetic continuation of the varieties in her garden.

The small pink one, a pigeon, the green one, a Bodil Neergaard, and the pear carries the same silhouette as the sweet Comice.
