A gracious pedestal made to embody floral symphonies as a centerpiece to tables and window displays. Available in two sizes, the smaller one in emerald green, perfectly suited for petite bouquets of garden flowers, while the larger one stands clear and tall, ready to cradle grand arrangements of exquisite beauty.

Inspired by the poetry found within the silhouette of a flower and the profound love for flora expressed by the Danish author Karen Blixen, this vase is a homage to the organic elegance of nature. Its elevated base lends an air of poetry and space for stems to dance freely with undulating waves that gently guide flowers to unfold freely and gracefully even after they've been placed in water. As Blixen herself eloquently put it, the unfolding of flowers is "one of life's greatest miracles.”

Each vase is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, meticulously crafted in three separate parts – base, sphere, and body – before being seamlessly joined together by skilled artisans in Murano. Hand-blown with care, it takes a team of three – a master and his dedicated artisans – to bring each vase to life.

Care Instructions

The Karen Blixen vase is not dishwasher friendly, it needs to be cleaned by hand. The vase is not suitable for hot water.

Shipping & Returns

Akua Objects ships with two different shipping companies depending on your location: GLS (Denmark & Sweden) & DHL Express (International).

All orders are dispatched within 1-5 working days, given that the product is in stock. During public holidays, the time of delivery must be expected to be longer.

Return

The costs associated with the return will be covered by you. The item must be shipped without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have received your purchase. The deadline is complied if you return the goods before the expiry of the 14 days.
