The Barbro collection honors the grandmothers of Josefine, who carefully set the table with Swedish handmade bow glasses from the early 19th century. To Akua Objects, the bow symbolises a unity of past and future generations and traditions being intertwined and so it pays tribute to what Akua Objects believes to be timeless.

These contemporary interpreted glasses have been mouth blown with patterns added afterwards, patiently engraved by a master’s hand.

Collection

The Barbro collection is dedicated to the grandmothers of Josefine, who both had the Swedish Reijmyre glasses with a bow in their homes.

Each glass is engraved by the hand of a dedicated master using the classic techniques for decorating wine glasses. To us, the bow represents a connection between almost lost memories and contemporary square expressions.

Care Instructions

The Barbro collection is dishwasher safe. We recommend dishwasher programs up to max 50°C, the glasses are not suitable for hot beverages.

Shipping & Returns

Akua Objects ships with two different shipping companies depending on your location: GLS (Denmark & Sweden) & DHL Express (International).

All orders are dispatched within 1-5 working days, given that the product is in stock. During public holidays, the time of delivery must be expected to be longer.

Return

The costs associated with the return will be covered by you. The item must be shipped without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have received your purchase. The deadline is complied if you return the goods before the expiry of the 14 days.
